Anyone in years 6-12!

Who can come on TGE?

TGE is held during the mid-year school holiday on Monday July 3rd (drop off from 9am) - Friday July 7th (2pm pick up), 2023.

When is TGE?

TGE is located at the Port Hacking Conference Centres in the Royal National Park. We are spread across 3 great sites: Years 6-8 at Rathane, 9-10 at Deer Park and and 11-12 at Chaldercot. Visit http://youthworksoutdoors.net/venues/ for more info on our sites.

If transportation is an issue, we have a bus available to and from camp.

Where is TGE?

Camp this year will cost $390 (super earlybird rate - booking before 21st May), $400 (earlybird rate - booking after 22nd May but before 4th June) or $410 (regular rate booking after 5th June) per child. Registrations close 25th June. This cost covers food, accommodation, and a camp t-shirt.

We believe that every child should have the chance to come on camp. Thanks to many generous people at St Luke’s we are able to offer sponsorship if you anticipate financial difficulty. Please get in contact with our Youth Minister Sam to find out more.

How much does TGE cost?

At TGE you will make friends for life. We do our best to create a friendly community, with many opportunities to meet and make new friends. There are small groups and activity groups where campers get to meet and make friends with a range of people.

What if my child doesn’t know anyone?

To get the most out of camp, we suggest you stay the whole week, but if this will be an issue, campers have the option to stay part-time. Please contact us below for further details.

What if my child can’t stay the whole time?

Each day there will be free time available for year 12 students to study if they so desire. We have set aside a great quiet space for those who want to study without distractions.

Will there be a time and space for yr 12s to study?

At St Luke's, we are committed to ensuring that we are an environment that is safe for those in our care. Every leader on camp has their Working With Children’s Check and have completed Safe Ministry training. Please see our safe ministry page for more information.

If you have any concerns about the activities on camp please contact us.
