We’ve all had this conversation before…

“Hi, how are you?” “Good. It’s been a busy week. How are you?” “Yeah, I’m feeling pretty tired this week…”

There are many reasons for our modern addiction to busyness. To have a jam packed calendar can be worn as a status symbol, earning us the respect of others. Working 60+ hour weeks might be an attempt to step into that next wealth bracket where happiness will finally be found. For some, busyness serves as a kind of existential reassurance, a hedge against emptiness; obviously your life has purpose if you are in demand every hour of the day. For others busyness may have become a high virtue and the mark of a good parent, good employee or good person.

In this series we want God’s word to speak into and challenge our busyness. Join us as we dive into what ‘Good Busy’ looks like as a follower of Jesus.
